NEW YORK, August 21, 2018 / via PRNewswire-iReach/ — The SaaS Report (“TSR”) today announced its list of Top 50 SaaS CEOs of 2018.  These CEOs were selected largely based on detailed reviews TSR received from each CEO’s respective employees and industry colleagues.  TSR received nearly 5,000 nominations on behalf of hundreds of CEOs.  CEOs were assessed across a number of key areas including integrity, intelligence, energy, company culture, and company growth, among other areas.

Topping this year’s list is Reggie Aggarwal, Founder, CEO and Chairman of Cvent, the world’s leading event management software company.  He leads over 3,200 employees in supporting over 28,000 customers in more than 100 countries.  Also ranking high on the list are Adam Miller, Founder and CEO of Cornerstone OnDemand and Nick Mehta, CEO of Gainsight.  Adam founded the talent management company in his apartment in 1999 and through sheer determination has grown the company to nearly $500 million in revenues.  Nick, meanwhile, has grown Gainsight’s revenues over 1000% in the past three years while partnering with over half of the publicly traded cloud-based companies.

Three highly accomplished women place in the top 15 this year.  Amy Zupon leads Vertafore, which she joined shortly following Bain and Vista Equity’s 2016 purchase of the company for $2.7 billion.  Vertafore has over 500,000 insurance professionals and 90 of the top 100 insurance agencies using its software.  Fran Craig, Founder and CEO of Virginia-based Unanet began building her company in 1988 and through the years has been a strong proponent for women in technology.  Lastly, PlanGrid CEO Tracy Young boldly chose to pursue a path in two fields typically dominated by men – software and construction.
