BlueSnap Product Update V3.0.2
Introducing new features and improvements aimed to boost your business & grow revenues
This release introduces the following new features:
Using BlueSnap’s Automated Subscription Reminders, you can offer more payment type options when selling subscriptions. We have expanded the list of payment method options to now include:
Since the trend of the subscription payment model is taking precedence in the market, it’s important to be able to offer shoppers the ability to purchase with local payment payments (that naturally don’t support recurring payments).
In emerging markets (such as South America or Russia), shoppers prefer to use local payment methods over credit cards. And yet, most local payment options don?t support recurring models!
Now, only at BlueSnap, can you use our robust subscription model to sell your products or services and offer your shoppers more payment type options.
The first payment method released is wire transfer. This is great for sellers with B2B products and in countries where credit cards are not a popular method.
How Does It Work
The initial purchase of the subscription will occur as usual, except that payments supported by Automatic Subscription Reminders will be displayed. Wire transfer will be the first method released!
For each renewal payment, the shopper will receive up to 3 automated reminders, which will contain a direct link to the order page.
The following screen capture is an example of an email sent by BlueSnap:
The order page for the renewal is designed to provide the shopper with the quickest way to make a payment to renew their subscription, with minimal clicks and fields to fill-in.
Tip: In order to prevent losing your customer and increasing the churn ratio, we highly recommend increasing the grace period.?To do this: go to the specific contract >?General Settings. In theAdvanced Recurring Settings?section in the?Cancel Subscription _ days?after first failure field, add the maximum number of days allowed to continue the subscription without payment, before cancelling.
