BlueSnap Product Updates V3.21
Introducing new features and improvements aimed to boost your business & grow revenues
We’re happy to announce that you can now start taking advantage of everything Apple Pay has to offer. Apple’s Touch ID offers the best frictionless checkout experience because it’s crazy-easy and highly secure. With just one click, your customers can use it to pay both online (in Safari) and in-app (on their iPhone). Enable it today, and improve your conversions!
To help keep us aligned with PCI security standards, we started removing support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 in the sandbox environment back in April and had planned to remove support for these protocols in the production environment on June 4. We are now extending the production date to July 10, 2017. If your system does not support TLS v. 1.2, you will be unable to process transactions with BlueSnap as of July 10. If you’re integrated with BlueSnap using our APIs, we strongly recommend that you test your integration in the sandbox before that date. If you have any questions, please get in touch with us at email@example.com.
Merchants using BlueSnap’s automated shopper emails will notice a number of changes we’ve made recently to streamline the shopper email experience. In addition to simplified content and a new design, we’ve removed all references to BlueSnap and added your merchant logo to help reinforce your brand. Plus, emails will now automatically translate to the shopper’s checkout page language. Note that, in this release, translations are available for a limited number of languages.
