Got customer data in Salesforce? BlueSnap merchants can now accept and process credit card and ACH payments directly with Salesforce — no development needed! That means you can collect revenue (including recurring payments) faster and prevent lost sales with our subscription retry functionality — all while giving customers a frictionless checkout experience. Follow these simple steps to take advantage of this new integration.
Starting November 1, a BlueSnap systems upgrade means that new IP addresses will be added to our network. If you’re using the Instant Payment Notification service (IPN), you’ll need to make sure all additional IP addresses are whitelisted to prevent IPN delivery failure. If you have any questions, post them in Stack Overflow, tagged as “bluesnap,” or contact our Merchant Support team. No other services are expected to be impacted by the upgrade.
It’s here: SEPA Direct Debit (similar to ACH in the U.S.) is one of Europe’s most popular payment methods – and it’s now available to BlueSnap merchants! Add it to your current European payment methods to reach even more potential customers in this region. Contact the merchant support team to enable it for your hosted checkout page or for use with our Payment API.
Starting To increase the supply of bank identification numbers (BINs), MasterCard is currently adding new BINs ranging from 222100 to 272099. (Existing BIN numbers range from 510000 to 559999.) If you use our API to retrieve card brand and type, you can rest assured we’ve already taken the necessary steps for compliance. But if you host your own payment page and conduct a validation routine prior to sending us transactions, you will need to make the necessary changes to your software and databases to ensure that new 2-series BINs pass seamlessly through your filters. This must be done by January 2018 to avoid fines imposed by MasterCard. If you have any questions, please contact our Merchant Support team.
We’re psyched to announce that we’ve added eight new SDKs to our SDK library, in addition to our two new SDKs for iOS and Android. All of our SDKs make integration with BlueSnap easier than ever and let you take advantage of our powerful payment processing features. Check them out.
