New Feature – Available Payment Methods By Country

Good news: If you’re using the Payment API, you now have even more ways to delight your global shoppers. The new functionality allows you to retrieve a list of the preferred payment types in the shopper’s country and dynamically display that payment type on the checkout page. No matter where your customers live, let them pay their way. View Docs.

New Feature – Process Manual Orders with Ease

You may know by now that our Virtual Terminal with Payment Link allows you to generate a unique, secure link to send to shoppers — but our new feature enables shoppers to enter the price they want to pay. This feature is great for collecting donations via marketing campaigns, but it can be applied to any online bill payment that makes sense for your business. The result? Payments that flow seamlessly. How to Save Money Under New Payments Regulations

Visa and Mastercard recently announced that they’re raising their cross-border fees. If you’re selling globally, you’re probably paying higher fees. The good news is: BlueSnap is here to help. By tapping into our global bank connections, you can reduce these costs by processing payments locally and in the countries where you have a legal entity. Learn more.

Get Ready for PSD2 Compliance With 3-D Secure

Do you process transactions in the EU? Then you’ll want to pay attention to forthcoming payments regulations. PSD2 requires businesses to enable strong customer authentication of online sales—and luckily, as a BlueSnap customer, you have access to our 3-D Secure integration. Activate this feature prior to September 14, 2019 to make sure you remain compliant with PSD2 requirements. Get 3-D Secure Now.

Mastercard’s New Rules On Post-Free Trial Charges

New regulations are adding more complexities to payment processing — including a recent announcement by Mastercard that requires businesses to email shoppers for approval before beginning subscription charges. You’ll need to send shoppers an email with the date, payment amount and cancellation details before moving forward with the transaction. Click the link below to learn more about the requirements.
