Implementation Specialist

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for coordinating the successful boarding of new merchants with the goal to ensure that merchants bring traffic through the BlueSnap. The Implementation Specialist will manage the implementation of several new merchants concurrently.

The boarding process begins once a contract is signed and Sales transitions the merchant to the onboarding team.  The Implementation Specialist will engage the merchant’s project team, coordinate activities and tasks with the merchant and internal resources and works diligently on removing any hurdles in the way of the merchant going live.


  • Assist e-commerce merchants in implementing access to the BlueSnap Payments Gateway
  • Provide training of the Merchant Console and BlueSnap Services
  • Answer any technical and how-to questions from the merchant
  • Assist the merchant in setting up API permissions, roles, products, contracts, promotions, etc. in the Merchant Console
  • Serve as the merchant’s primary contact point during the implementation period (with R&D, PS, Support)
  • Create and maintain the merchant’s implementation project plan
  • Assist the merchant in setting up and testing their configuration in sandbox environment and Production


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English – must
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in managing small to mid-size projects
  • Ability to work successfully with different departments and teams
  • Knowledge of API, HTML, Java Script, SQL – advantage
  • Prior working experience in a technical support role – advantage
  • Prior working experience in a client management role – advantage
  • A working understanding of web technology and Browser based applications (URLs, IP addresses, etc.)
