Product Manager (Card Present Solutions)

The Product Manager (Card Present Solutions) is responsible for the development and implementation of card present products and services for BlueSnap in the high growth e-commerce space.  Specifically, the Product Manager is responsible for executing the roadmap for increasing profitability and success of existing products, as well as developing and launching new products and the channel infrastructure that is required for the optimal Go-To-Market approach. The Product Manager will drive strategies and the resources necessary for successful product definition, development, release, marketing, and sales. Key functions will include product engineering and management, marketing and pricing strategy, market research, and competitive intelligence tracking. This role includes working cross-functionally with engineering, legal, operations, enterprise project management, and other stakeholders to ensure delivery.

This position is located in Waltham, MA.



  • Work with cross-functional teams and clients to define requirements
  • Perform research on competitor product offerings to offer a compelling product offering
  • Prioritize, conceptualize and write detailed product requirements for developers
  • Refine product requirements based on input from working team and client feedback
  • Assist QA with product acceptance testing
  • Assist sales with sales calls, product demos, responding to RFPs
  • Communicate progress against roadmap throughout the organization
  • Coordinate high-quality, predictable product releases
  • Track product effectiveness and usage/acceptance among the client base
  • Ensure market messaging corresponds with product functionality

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working as a product marketing manager or product manager
  • Demonstrated success defining product requirements
  • Experience in product designs and launching products in the financial services space
  • Knowledge of EMV/Chip Card specifications (Consumer, Corporate, Government, etc.) and contactless (NFC) capabilities
  • Knowledge of the major credit card/debit/ATM card networks and card processing
  • Knowledge of gift card and loyalty processing
  • Experience working with ISVs and POS systems
  • Technical ability and expertise to understand systems, how they interact and related dependencies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to easily work with many teams
