Strategic Partner Manager

At BlueSnap, you’ll join a proactive, quick-thinking team driven to scale our rapid-growth partner channel.  As a Strategic Partner Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of high-performing and/or high-potential partners to enhance the relationship, expand BlueSnap share and surface new opportunities to grow revenue.  This crucial role drives the business planning and execution of programs and initiatives with partners – including annual sales forecasts and plans, sales enablement, marketing plans, pipeline management, quarterly business reviews and product roadmaps. This is a great opportunity to leverage your talent for channel/partner management, business development and strategic account planning.


  • Develop and manage relationships with a portfolio of BlueSnap partners to grow and retain share and revenue. Secure ongoing preference and advocacy within the partner organization. Create ongoing feedback loop with partner and internal teams at BlueSnap (relationship, strategic alignment, product roadmap, customer care, etc.)
  • Work with high-performing and high-potential partners to develop an annual joint business plan that defines the strategies and activities to meet revenue goals; review and assess plan progress in partner-facing quarterly business reviews, making changes as appropriate
  • Develop annual forecast and report on progress vs. goals – provide insight into results and present opportunities to address or exceed current performance
  • Drive ongoing partner alignment sessions to review partner pipeline, conduct win/loss analysis, and develop account penetration strategies to identify and build new sales opportunities
  • Manage onboarding and certification process for newly assigned partners to ensure expedient and efficient path to revenue recognition
  • Create sales enablement plans and tactics (tools, assets, spiffs, training, playbooks, etc.) for both internal use and external partner teams
  • Educate partners on how to leverage our products, solutions and programs so they can effectively secure preference for our products and solutions with their customers and prospects
  • Work with partners and internal resources to develop and execute a partner marketing plan to drive demand in support of revenue targets
  • Proactively anticipate and address concerns and service issues with partner and internal teams. Represent partner needs and requirements to internal teams and drive toward resolution
  • Engage and manage internal resources in support of partnership objectives, plans and sales opportunities (e.g., direct sales, product, channel marketing, account management, pricing, etc.)

  • Drive to challenge the status quo and find new and better ways meet and exceed partner expectations and business results
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically – see the big picture, understand the implications, assess opportunities, develop plans, roll up your sleeves to get it done
  • Collaborative and positive approach to working within and across teams to achieve results
  • Ability to communicate with and present to senior executives in a clear and confident manner
  • 5-7 years of experience managing partners or strategic accounts with a successful track record of increasing share/revenue
  • Previous experience working in either payment processing, ecommerce, fintech, financial services or SaaS preferable
  • Ability to travel – 10-15% throughout the year
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
