Strategic Partner Sales Executive

You’ll join a proactive, quick-thinking team driven to scale our rapid-growth partner channel. As a Strategic Partner Sales Executive, you’ll be responsible for achieving sales and/or profitability objectives from new clients, primarily Software Platforms or ISVs.  This crucial role identifies marketplace opportunities, prospects and engages new clients, develops proposals according to the business needs of the client, and manages the contract process.  A commanding knowledge of the payments and e-commerce ecosystems combined with strong business development skills in closing complex sales is critical to success.


  • Pursue, develop and close new high-value ISV/software platform opportunities within a defined geographic market
  • Conduct detailed discovery and needs assessment of prospective partners, to make appropriate recommendations and achieve assigned sales targets
  • Thoroughly understand BlueSnap’s product and global acquiring capabilities and deliver strategic sales presentations
  • Maintain prospect pipelines, forecasts and customer profile information in Salesforce and provide management with appropriate sales activity reports in a timely manner
  • Make actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements based on market feedback


  • 5+ years payments industry experience, preferably in an eCommerce sales or partner channel business development capacity
  • Experience working with complex payment models and developing strategic partnerships with new clients, in particular SaaS/software platforms/ISVs
  • Understanding of global eCommerce payments preferred
  • Sales experience with technology companies and ability to communicate with and present to C-level decision makers
  • Successful track-record of increasing sales and developing effective sales strategies in a self-directed manner
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Superior business and negotiation skills
  • Extensive industry contacts
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
