BlueSnap Partners with ParcelRoute for Worldwide Order Fulfillment

Provides One-Stop Checkout & Delivery for Online Merchants Delivering Globally

WALTHAM, MA (January 20, 2014) – International payment gateway provider BlueSnap today announced the addition of UK-based ParcelRoute to its Partner Connections to provide integrated shipping and fulfillment for online merchants delivering physical goods to consumers anywhere in the world. The partnership streamlines eCommerce by enabling businesses to charge for product delivery through the BlueSnap checkout process, automate order notification to their preferred delivery service, and utilize one delivery provider for all destinations.

For merchants using ParcelRoute’s fulfillment services, BlueSnap now automatically generates an instant payment notification (IPN) when a payment is completed and sends it to ParcelRoute with the buyer’s delivery address and the merchant’s chosen shipping method. ParcelRoute then picks and packs the order from merchant inventory in its warehouse, and supplies delivery tracking and inventory management tools through a merchant portal.

The partnership leverages BlueSnap’s ability to dynamically localize content, currencies and payment methods on merchants’ checkout pages based on the shopper’s location to increase global sales. In the EU, for example, BlueSnap can process regional payment methods such as WebMoney, CashU and Skrill, as well as country-specific methods such as Carte Bleue in France, CartaSi in Italy, Giropay in Germany and iDeal in the Netherlands, in addition to a full range of standard card, eWallet, transfer and voucher payment options.

BlueSnap also helps online merchants reduce shopping cart abandonment and boost conversion rates with intelligent payment routing, which automatically forwards failed transactions to different acquirers for retries; flexible subscription management, including a wide variety of plan types and payment cycles; and various services that help businesses optimize and customize checkout pages for easy purchasing.

“Most of the merchants that use our services come to us because we can help them build their global business. ParcelRoute’s ability to deliver product anywhere in the world is a perfect fit,” said Ralph Dangelmaier, CEO of BlueSnap. “This partnership gives merchants a seamless, reliable and cost-effective solution for checkout, payment processing and physical product delivery throughout the EU and beyond.”

“Integrating with BlueSnap is a logical step that provides a real convenience for online businesses as well as a valuable new channel for letting merchants know about our worldwide parcel delivery services,” said Rick Kirk, Sales Director of ParcelRoute. “We share a global approach that matches the way commerce operates today.”
