Introduction

MyHeritage.com was founded by a team of people with a passion for genealogy and a strong grasp of Internet technology with a vision to make it easier for people around the world to use the power of the Internet to discover their heritage and strengthen their bonds with family and friends. Started in 2005 the company has offices in the United States and Israel with many employees and representatives around the world.

The Challenge

In 2011 the company expanded with the purchase of the FamilyLink.com and WorldVitalRecords.com genealogy assets greatly expanding their user base and capabilities. With MyHeritage.com each member has a private family site where they can build a family tree, share photos, preserve the family history and keep up with family news, birthdays and events and stay in touch with a family’s network for life. Users can visit to catch up on what’s new in the family and to post updates of their own. Initial services are free – advanced features and storage is on a subscription basis.
